Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, collection of the City, County and School real estate taxes; and collection of the Per Capita Tax, accounts payable related to tax collection, general ledger, cash management; bank reconciliations and other related duties as directed. Applicant to have excellent verbal and written skills, strong organizational skills, multi-task oriented, ability to follow policies, procedures and instructions, proficient in MS office, 10-key board, QuickBooks, team player, positive attitude, honest, and community minded. The successful candidate shall be a competent accountant, at least twenty-one years of age, bondable and shall have been a resident of the City of Corry for at least one year prior to appointment and must be a resident within the City throughout the City Treasurer’s term of office.
